Prayer Service and Lighting of the Tree of Remembrance
Please join Archbishop Kurtz and the staff of Catholic Cemeteries on Thursday, December 1 for the first annual prayer service and lighting of the Tree of Remembrance. The service will begin at 6:45 p.m. (gates will open at 6 p.m.) and will conclude with refreshments. This prayer service will take place at Calvary Cemetery, 1600 Newburg Road.
Through the Tree of Remembrance, Catholic Cemeteries will remember, honor, and celebrate the life of your loved one by inviting you to place an ???in memory of??? ornament during the month of December. We extend this opportunity to everyone who mourns the loss of a family member or friend, regardless of when or where the person was buried.
You can bring your own ornaments or request a personalized complimentary ornament at the cemetery. Ornaments will remain on the tree until January 6, 2017. If you cannot attend this prayer service, you can come by the Cemetery office anytime during regular business hours to request an ornament.
