It's here! The National Black Catholic Congress' New and Improved Website The NBCC is proud to announce the launch of its new website with more interactive features, timely articles, listings of events, and resources that we are sure you will find both enjoyable and useful. We are pleased to announce the launch of our brand new website! After manymonths of hard work and dedication, we are delighted to officially announce the launch on November 8, 2016. The new site is available and the URL is Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors an easier way to learn about the history of black Catholics in the United Statesand also to allow the visitor to find current information and resources impacting black Catholics. The new website is interactive, gives better access to About Us, Resources, Black Catholics, and features a prayer wall and an e-store with NBCC and Congress XII items for purchase. Our current and prospective constituents will find useful information about our organization on the homepage of our website, and there are separate pages for youths and young adult black Catholics. We hope you visitthe new website frequently and enjoy the fresh look, easy to access information, and increased interactivity. We will be constantly updating our content with helpful information, news articles, blogs, program announcements, and upcoming events. Join St. Augustine Catholic Church on Saturday, November 5, 2016 for the Lightfest Re-Ignited 2016 St. Augustine-1350 W. Broadway St. Louisville, Ky 40203 4-6:30 p.m. Light of Hope Display will begin at 6:00 p.m. If you are not able to attend at St. Augustine, you can still participate!!! Send a message of HOPE: On November 5th at 6:00 p.m. wherever you are, display a candle, flashlight, cell phone or even turn on a porch light to brighten the lives of those who are experiencing poverty, susceptible to poverty, hunger and homelessness. Let children see through LIGHTFEST Re-Ignited that they have support. NEVER give up HOPE and follow their dreams.

*Family Life Ministry Seniors Prom- Friday, September 23, 2016 from 8 p.m.-12 midnight. Tickets are $10 in advance/ $15 at the door. All those feeling mature and older are invited to come and be part of a formal wear (no jeans please) and fun affair, with good food, good oldies music, and good times. *Join Louisville Young Catholics for ???Christ in the City??? on Friday, September 30th at 7 pm. This month???s Eucharistic adoration hour will be held at Mount St. Francis in southern Indiana (101 St. Anthony Drive, Mt. St. Francis, IN 47146). *Red Mass at the Cathedral of the Assumption- September 22, 2016 at 12 noon. The Red Mass is a Mass of the Holy Spirit invoking God???s blessing and guidance to all those in the legal profession. It is a Roman Catholic Mass, but a warm invitation is extended to all those working in the legal profession.
