Baptism

"Baptism incorporates us into Christ and forms us into God's people. The first sacrament pardons all our sins, rescues us from the power of darkness, and brings us to the dignity of adopted children, a new creation through water and the Holy Spirit. Hence we are called and are indeed the children of God." (Rite of Christian Initiation, General Introduction, 2)

If you would like to have your child baptized, please contact the parish office.

Reconciliation

"Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God's mercy for the offense committed against him, and are at the same time reconciled with the Church..." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1422)

The Sacrament of Reconciliation is offered Sunday after the 11:00 am Mass or by appointment.

confirmation

Confirmation seals us with the gift of the Holy Spirit, completes the grace of Baptism, and together with Baptism and Eucharist, is a sacrament of initiation.

For more information on the sacrament of Confirmation, please contact the parish office.

Anointing of the sick

"By the sacred anointing of the sick and the prayer of the priests, the whole Church commends those who are ill to the suffering and glorified Lord, that he may raise them up and save them and indeed she exhorts them to contribute to the good of the People of God by freely uniting themselves to the Passion and death of Christ." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1499)

To receive the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick, please contact the Pastor to make arrangements.

Marriage

"The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life, is by its nature ordered toward the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring; this covenant between baptized persons has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament." (Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1601)

If you would like to be married at Saint Martin de Porres, please contact the Pastor or Deacon for more information.
