Sr. Thea Bowman Hall

Servant of God Thea Bowman

Sr. Thea Bowman was a member of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in La Crosse, Wisconsin. She was an educator, scholar, and evangelist who made a major contribution to the American Catholic Church, particularly in how the Church ministers to and welcomes the African American community. She assisted in founding the National Black Catholic Sisters Conference. Her cause for canonization as a Saint is currently open, and she has been given the designation of 'Servant of God.' Our parish hall, located in the lower level of the Catholic Enrichment Center, is named in her honor.

Sr. Thea Bowman Hall serves the needs of our parish community, but is also available for rental. For rental information, please contact the Parish Office (502) 778-1118.
